  Top Channel TV is one of the largest TV stations in Albania. It is a privately owned business entity, part of Top Media Company, and covers most parts of Albania. Since September 2003, Top Channel has also been present on satellite broadcasting all over Europe through DigitAlb and North America through Home2US. As of January 2008, KKRT has authorized Top Channel to become the 4th television station with national frequency coverage in Albania.

Top Channel was established on 30 July 2001 in the International Center for Culture (Qendra Ndërkombëtare e Kulturës) in Tirana, and since then has seen a very fast growth and success and it has become preferable by a growing number of people. It is believed that Top Channel holds an average viewing percentage of 70% as of 2006, though these are based on approximate evaluations of various experts and not officially confirmed. Based on a survey in 2003, Top Channel was ranked as the most watched TV channel in Albania with 50 % of the national audience, thus leaving far behind the second watched TV which accounts for 17 % of the national audience. In an earlier survey (2002) it has been ranked in third place with 11.9% audience share, right behind the public broadcaster TVSH. Its success relates to its informational programs about the problems that Albanian society is facing, as well as to the comparatively high technology by which it operates. Also other media outlets making up Top Media include Top Albania Radio, the daily newspaper Shqip, and part of the pay TV platform DigitAlb.

In the past years it has also sought partnership with international development agencies such as UNDP, UNICEF, IOM, OSCE, USAID, Albanian and French Red Cross, and many others, and sustains partnership with international private companies such as Vodafone. In addition, Top Channel has seen growing partnership with international news agencies such as Reuters in exchanging news coverage.

Portokalli is a weekly night sketch comedy and variety show filmed in Tirana in front of a live audience. The format of the show includes stand-up comedy, sketch comedy, and live music making the show similar to the "NBC" show "Saturday Night Live". Portokalli is known to make fun of everyday problems through humor and satire. It also makes fun of political figures such as Sali Berisha, Edi Rama, Hashim Thaçi, Ramush Haradinaj and others. Portokalli reaches an audience of many ages through young and old.

      StorylineIn Baltimore, the troublemaker and street dancer Tyler Gage lives with his foster parents in an Afro-American lower class neighborhood. His best friends are Mac Carter and his little brother Skinny Carter and they use to hang around together, going to parties and stealing cars. After being expelled of a party, the trio breaks in the Maryland School of Arts and commits vandalism, destroying the stage. Tyler is arrested and sentenced to 200 hours of community service in the school and Director Gordon assigns him to help the janitor cleaning the place. One afternoon, the ballet dancer Nora Clark sees Tyler dancing in the parking area and when her partner Andrew has a strain and Tyler offers to help her in the choreography, she accepts the offer; they rehearsal and become close to each other while Tyler becomes friend of the students Miles Darby and Lucy Avila. When Andrew returns, Tyler that is known for quitting everything he starts gives up dancing and leaves Nora alone...

 

     You've seen it all – feel-good story of deprived, delinquent kid finding the meaning of life, dedicated effort culminating in an upbeat dance finale, rich-girl-poor-guy routine, and a whole bunch of familiar situations. But, if the dance and music are good, you'll tend to forget the improbable, unlikely, illogical, contrived story and plot. Given the lame script, top choreographer Anne Fletcher's first crack at directing didn't come off too badly, partly because of the wise use of very short scenes.    As to the dance routines, with her credentials, you wouldn't expect anything less than good, and the movie does deliver in that department. The stimulating fusion of hip hop and ballet is well synchronized with fusion in the music. While the attention would obviously be on the showcase number that the protagonists are developing, I also like one particular scene at a gig, when the two sidekicks sing on stage while the two leads do their thing on the dance floor. This scene has the beauty of exciting spontaneity not seen elsewhere in the movie.

       Step Up is a 2006 American dance/romance film directed by Anne Fletcher starring Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan.

Set in Baltimore, Maryland, the film follows the tale of the disadvantaged Tyler Gage (Channing Tatum) and the privileged modern dancer Nora Clark (Jenna Dewan), who find themselves paired up in a showcase that determines both of their futures. Realizing that they only have one chance, they finally work together.

Following a party, Mac (Damaine Radcliff) and Skinny Carter (De'Shawn Washington), and their friend Tyler Gage (Channing Tatum), break into the Maryland School of Arts and damage many of the props in the school's theatre. When a security guard appears, Tyler helps the other two escape and accepts the blame. He is sentenced to 200 hours of community service, which he has to serve at the school. While working, he watches a dance class and meets Nora Clark (Jenna Dewan), a student preparing for her "senior showcase." The performance could determine if she gets a job with a dance company. Later, Nora secretly watches as Tyler mockingly shows his friends a mix of break-dance and the ballet moves he picked up. Nora's dance partner sprains his ankle, leaving Nora without a partner. After auditioning some students, she doesn't meet anyone who is good enough. Tyler offers to help, but she at first refuses. Eventually she changes her mind, having seen him dancing earlier, and convinces Director Gordon (Rachel Griffiths) to allow Tyler to rehearse with her. During their initial practice session, Tyler is antagonistic toward Nora as well as her boyfriend, Brett (Josh Henderson), both of whom respond with haughty attitudes. As they continue to rehearse, Nora and Tyler grow closer, each teaching the other about their respective styles of dance. Tyler also befriends a musician at the school named Miles (Mario), who has a crush on Nora's friend, Lucy (Drew Sidora).

      The modern Mother's Day is celebrated on various days in many parts of the world, most commonly in May or in March/April, as a day to honour mothers and motherhood. In the UK and Ireland, it follows the old traditions of Mothering Sunday, celebrated in March/April.

     In most countries, Mother's Day is a recent observance derived from the holiday as it has evolved in America. When it was adopted by other countries and cultures, it was given different meanings, associated to different events (religious, historical or legendary), and celebrated in a different date or dates.

Some countries already had existing celebrations honoring motherhood, and their celebrations have adopted several external characteristics from the US holiday, like giving carnations and other presents to your own mother.

      The extent of the celebrations varies greatly. In some countries, it is potentially offensive to one's mother not to mark Mother's Day. In others, it is a little-known festival celebrated mainly by immigrants, or covered by the media as a taste of foreign culture (compare the celebrations of Diwali in the UK and the United States).

NORA ISTREFI-JETA E SAJ E PERDITSHME

        Një kohe relativisht të gjatë të lidhjes së saj me Robertin (ish- i dashuri i Adelina Ismajlit) këngëtarja Nora Istrefi duket se ka vendosur që lidhjen ta forcojë duke bërë një hap para e duke shpallur fejesën. Miqtë e Norës kanë folur se data e fejesës së saj mund të jetë 22 ose 23 maji, por kjo nuk është konfirmuar nga çifti i ri. Sipas këtyre burimeve, NPas ora dhe Roberti kanë vendosur që rastin e fejesës ta shënojnë me një ceremoni, ku të ftuar do të jenë disa nga miqtë e tyre më të afërt. Duke marrë parasysh se çifti ka shumë njerëz me të cilët punojnë dhe ndajnë kohën më të madhe të tyre, pritet që ceremonia të mos jetë aq e vogël sa për të mos u vënë re. Ata kanë zgjedhur një lokal të kryeqytetit ku do të ndërrojnë nishanet e fejesës, ndërsa nuk dihet nëse do të ketë ndonjë ceremoni më formale. Vet Nora nuk ka folur asnjëherë në publik për lidhjen e saj me Robertin, por nuk ka mundur ta fshihte atë, derisa së bashku shumë shpesh kanë qëndruar në lokalet më të frekuentuara të kryeqytetit. Sidoqoftë, ata ka kohë që njihen, pasi të dy i takojnë të njëjtit profesion, derisa Roberti luan në organo (thonë se është një klaviaturist i mirë). Ai është njëri nga bashkëpunëtorët e ngushtë të këngëtarit Sinan Vllasaliu,(me kete te fundit do kete nje duet i cili do dale ne muajn qershor, enderr e madhe e Nores njekohesisht duke ndjekur hapat e Adelina Ismajlit, e cila vite me pare ka pasur duet me po te njejtin kengetar)duke e shoqëruar atë gjithkund. Nga ana tjetër, Roberti njihet edhe si një zemërthyes i vajzave, për shkak të sharmit dhe bukurisë që ka.

     
   Në intervistat e saj, kur i drejtohej pyetja nëse është e dashuruar dhe e lidhur me ndokënd, Nora përgjigjej se ishte singël dhe se do të donte të qëndronte kështu për një farë kohe. Por në fakt nuk ishte e vërtetë. “Bluetooth” arriti të zbulonte muaj më parë se kush ishte i dashuri i Nora Istrefit. Robert Berisha, një djalë nga Prishtina, i cili ashtu si edhe Nora merret me muzikë. Të dy bashkë nisën të frekuentoheshin muaj më parë, në kryeqytetin kosovar. Edhe pse Nora nuk ka dëshiruar asnjëherë të flasë për këtë, ajo nuk ka heziton që me Robertin të kalojë çaste të bukura nëpër lokalet në qendër të Prishtinës.

Nora Istrefi, më sensuale se kurrë…

       Menjëherë sapo gjeti dhe të dashurin e zemrës, pas një periudhe të gjatë singël pas ndarjes me Getoarin, Nora u shfaq më sensuale se kurrë. Kjo u duk më së shumti tek video e saj e re, “Mos më lë”. Sapo doli, pjesa e parë e klipit u vu re që shoqërohej nga imazhe jo të zakonta nga ç’ka realizuar Nora deri më sot. Të veçanta ishin lisharëset ku tregohet se vajza është vërtet e dashuruar. Gjatë gjithë këngës, vetëm në rastet e ndërhyrjes së lëkundjeve me lisharëse, këngëtarja kosovare këndon nën ujë dhe pas trupit të saj, ku duket vetëm pjesa e pasme e zhveshur, shihet qartë tatuazhi ku është shkruar titulli i këngës. Kujtojmë që për klipet e Norës nuk kujdeset vetëm ajo, por edhe i fejuari i saj, Robert Berisha, i cili nuk mund të qëndrojë indiferent për dy arsye, së pari, sepse do maksimumin.

Shkollen e msesme e kreu ne Prishtine. Ajo ka marre pjese ne shum festivale dhe ka fituar mjaft çmime. Tashmë si një këngëtare e afirmuar, Jehona Sopi ka arritur të pushtojë skenën muzikore dhe zemrën e mijëra adhuruesve. Ka filluar të këndojë që e vogël, e njëkohësisht është paraqitur edhe në spektakle të ndryshme bukurie. Me zërin e këndshëm, sharmin dhe paraqitjen mjaft tërheqëse skenike, ajo nuk është vetëm e pëlqyer dhe adhuruar në Kosovë, por edhe në Shqipëri, Maqedoni etj. Përveçse është një këngëtare, ajo në radhë të parë është dhe një vajzë me ndjenja dhe emocione. Jehona është shprehur se dëshiron që të jetë gjithmonë në shoqërinë e njerëzve të saj të dashur, që urren vetminë dhe që nuk donte të rrinte kurrë vetëm.

Emri i Elvana Gjatës nuk është i rastësishëm në botën e muzikës dhe as thjesht për të plotësuar ndonjë nga kapriçiot e moshës. Rruga e saj artistike ka filluar që fëmijë, me debutimet e saj të para në pallatin e pionierëve. Që në pjesëmarrjen e saj të parë, në Festivalin e Zërave të Rinj, vlerësohet me çmimin e tretë, me këngën 'Të këndojmë së bashku'. Ky çmim e inkurajon edhe më tej në rrugën e saj të saponisur.

Merr pjesë në spektaklin 'Kërkohet një yll', dhe në interpretimin e këngëve të Laura Pauzinit del në finale, nën shkëlqimin e një ylli të fshehur tek këngëtarja e re. E shtyrë nga i ati merr pjesë në edicionin e parë të show-t televiziv, 'Ethet e së premtes mbrëma'. Elvana, me një paraqitje të admirueshme skenike, por edhe me zërin e saj të ëmbël dhe melodioz do të fitojë simpatinë jo vetëm të stafit realizues, por edhe të publikut, i cili e ka votuar dhe e ka duartrotikur ngrohtësisht. Fati e ndjek nga mbrapa dhe ajo do të jetë një nga dhjetë finalistët e një prej spektakleve më të ndjekur në Shqipëri, ku evidentohet talenti i këngëtarëve të rinj.

'Ethet e së premtes mbrëma', më hapi dyert e suksesit, në rrugën e profesionalizmit muzikor', thotë Elvana, kur kujton momentet emocionuese nga ky spektakël , i cili ndezi dritën jeshile në rrugën e saj muzikore. Pas këtij spektakli, emri i Elvana Gjatës, nuk do të jetë më i panjohur, por do të fillojë bashkëpunimet me emra të njohur të muzikës shqiptare. Menjëherë pas 'Etheve', merr pjesë në një duet me solistin e grupit 'The Dreams' në 'Maratonën e këngës popullore' dhe arrijnë të dalin edhe në finale, ku Elvana dallohet edhe në interpretimin e këngëve popullore. Në vitin 2003, merr pjesë përkrah emrave të njohur të muzikës shqiptare, në festivalin e RTVSH, me këngën 'Pranë teje', me një tekst të shkruar nga ajo vete, ku shumë shpejt do të realizojë ëndrrën e saj më të madhe.

                                 

Së fundi, tek 'Kënga Magjike' e zhvilluar në Kosovë, paraqitet në një bashkëpunim me Flori Mumajesin dhe Andy DJ. Kënga e saj 'Vetëm Zoti e di', ka pushtuar majat e hit-paredeve në Kosovë, por, edhe në Shqipëri është një nga këngët më të dëgjuara në valët e radios 'Energy'. Një nga qëllimet e saj në këtë koncert ishte që kënga të kishte sukses në tregun muzikor dhe tani ndjehet e plotësuar dhe me fansa të shumtë. Është vetëm 18 vjeç dhe ka filluar përgatitjet për albumin e saj të parë, që pritet të dalë në tregun muzikor në korrik të këtij viti. Këngët e albumit janë të rrymave të ndryshme, por mbizotëron rryma R&B, një nga rrymat më të preferuara nga të rinjtë për momentin.


Deri tani janë rregjistruar 11 këngë, të cilat janë punuar me mjeshtëri nga Flori Mumajesi, producenti artistik i albumit. Kurse këngët të gjitha janë të regjistruara në studiot e radios Energy, dhe Andy Dj, i cili e ka mbështetur edhe financiarisht. Albumi do të shoqërohet edhe me një videoklip, që do të filmohet jashtë vendit dhe që do të jetë edhe supriza e publikimit të albumit. Krahas përgatitjeve për albumin e saj të parë, ajo po përgatitet edhe për fillimin e studimeve të larta në Akademinë e Arteve, dega regjisurë. Nuk do ta tradhëtojë këngën, por në këtë degë ajo mendon të kompletohet artistikisht, që në të ardhmen përveç se një regjizore e mirë, shpreson të bëhet një show-girl e famshme.

Dy motra këngëtare Ka qenë Migena, motra e madhe e Elvanës, ajo që e ka zbuluar si këngëtare.Ajo e ka shtyrë gjithmonë për pjesëmarrjet në konkurse dhe spektakle të ndryshme televizive. Migena është studente në vitin e fundit për kanto dhe për Elvanën, ajo ka qenë gjithmonë 'udhëheqësja e saj artistike'. Dy vajzat e familjes Gjata, vajzat e nënkolonelit Fatmir Gjatës, në rrugën që ato kanë nisur, kanë gjetur gjithmonë mbështetjen e veçantë të babait të tyre, që padyshhim një pjesë e suksesit të tyre i dedikohet atij.

Seventeen-year-old Isabella "Bella" Swan moves to Forks, a small town near the Washington coast, to live with her father, Charlie, after her mother remarries to a minor league baseball player. She is quickly befriended by many students at her new high school, but she is intrigued by the mysterious and aloof Cullen siblings. Bella sits next to Edward Cullen in biology class on her first day of school; he appears to be disgusted by her, much to Bella's confusion. A few days later, Bella is nearly struck by a van in the school parking lot. Edward inexplicably moves from several feet away and stops the vehicle with his hand without any harm to himself or Bella. After much research, Bella eventually discovers that Edward is a vampire, though he only consumes animal blood. Edward and his family risk their lives to protect her, but James tracks Bella to Phoenix where she is hiding and lures her into a trap by claiming he is holding her mother hostage. James attacks Bella and bites her wrist, but Edward, along with the other Cullen family members, arrives before he can kill her. James is destroyed, and Edward sucks James's venom from Bella's wrist, preventing her from becoming a vampire. A severely injured Bella is taken to a hospital. Upon returning to Forks, Bella and Edward attend their school prom. While there, Bella expresses her desire to become a vampire, which Edward refuses. The film ends with Victoria secretly watching the pair dancing, plotting revenge for her lover James' murder.

Twilight is a 2008 American romantic vampire film based on Stephenie Meyer's popular novel of the same name. Directed by Catherine Hardwicke, the film stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson. It is the first film in The Twilight Saga film series. This film focuses on the development of the relationship between Bella Swan (a teenage girl) and Edward Cullen (a vampire), and the subsequent efforts of Cullen and his family to keep Swan safe from a coven of evil vampires.

The project was in development for approximately three years at Paramount Pictures, during which time a screen adaptation that differed significantly from the novel was written. Summit Entertainment acquired the rights to the novel after three years of the project's stagnant development. Melissa Rosenberg wrote a new adaptation of the novel shortly before the 2007–2008 Writers Guild of America strike and sought to be faithful to the novel's storyline. Principal photography took 44 days, and completed on May 2, 2008;^[5] the film was primarily shot in Oregon.

Storyline

Bella Swan has always been a little bit different. Never one to run with the crowd, Bella never cared about fitting in with the trendy, plastic girls at her Phoenix, Arizona high school. The best movie ever

             TITANIC (1997)

Titanic is a 1997 American epic romance and disaster film directed, written, co-produced, and co-edited by James Cameron. A fictionalized account of the sinking of the RMS Titanic, it stars Leonardo DiCaprio as Jack Dawson and Kate Winslet as Rose DeWitt Bukater, members of different social classes who fall in love aboard the ship during its ill-fated maiden voyage. Although the central roles and love story are fictitious, some characters are based on genuine historical figures. portrays the elderly Rose, who narrates the film in a modern-day , and plays Cal Hockley, the overbearing fiancé of the younger Rose. Cameron saw the love story as a way to engage the audience with the real-life tragedy.

Production on the film began in 1995, when Cameron shot footage of the actual Titanic wreck. The modern scenes were shot on board the Akademik Mstislav Keldysh, which Cameron had used as a base when filming the actual wreck. A reconstruction of the Titanic was built at Playas de Rosarito, Baja California, and scale models and computer-generated imagery were also used to recreate the sinking. The film was partially funded by Paramount Pictures and 20th Century Fox – respectively, its American and international distributor – and at the time, it was the most expensive film ever made.

The film was originally scheduled to open on July 2, 1997, however, post-production delays pushed back its release to December 19 instead.Titanic was an enormous critical and commercial success. It was nominated for fourteen Academy Awards, eventually winning eleven, including Best Picture and Best Director.

84 years later a 100-year-old woman named Rose DeWitt Bukator tells the story to her granddaughter Lizzy Calvert, Brock Lovett, Lewis Bodine, Bobby Buell, and Anatoly Mikailavich on the Keldysh about her life set in April 10th 1912, on a ship called Titanic when young Rose boards the departing ship with the upper-class passengers and her mother, Ruth DeWitt Bukater, and her fiancé, Caledon Cal Hockley. Meanwhile, a drifter and artist named Jack Dawson and his best friend Fabrizio De Rossi win third-class tickets to the ship in a game. And she explains the whole story from departure until the death of Titanic on its first and last voyage April 15th, 1912 at 2:20 in the morning.
